exit

exit—Exit from the current mode in the configuration, or exit configuration mode altogether.

Command Syntax

exit [configuration-mode] [level] [no-confirm]

Options

None
Exit from the current level in the configuration, and move up one hierarchy level.
Exit Configuration Mode
configuration-mode
Exit configuration mode. If changes have been made to the configuration, you are prompted to commit them.
Exit Configuration Mode Immediately
no-confirm
Exit configuration mode immediately, without being prompted to commit any changes to the configuration.
Exit the Current Level
level
Exit from the current level in the configuration, and move up one hierarchy level. This is the default behavior if you type the exit command with no options.

vedge1(config)# vpn 0 interface ge0/0
vedge1(config-interface-ge0/0)# exit
vedge1(config-vpn-0)#vedge1(config-banner)# exit configuration-mode
